ISLAMABAD, Apr 10 (APP):Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM), Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Friday held a telephonic conversation with Foreign Minister of the Netherlands, Tom Berendsen, during which the two sides discussed regional developments and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
Foreign Minister Berendsen commended Pakistan’s role in facilitating the recent ceasefire and expressed support for its continued efforts to advance diplomacy aimed at achieving lasting peace in the region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs news release said.
The two foreign ministers also voiced concern over serious ceasefire violations in Lebanon and underscored the importance of ensuring full implementation of the ceasefire agreement to secure durable stability.
During the conversation, both leaders reaffirmed the strength of Pakistan–Netherlands relations and expressed their resolve to further expand cooperation in trade, economic, and investment sectors, reflecting a shared commitment to deepening bilateral engagement.
