Pakistan Navy Seizes $3 Million Worth of Narcotics in Arabian Sea; Naqvi Hails Operation

ISLAMABAD, Dec 08 (APP):Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Mohsin Naqvi has lauded the Pakistan Navy for a successful anti-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea, in which 1,500 kilograms of drugs worth an estimated 3 million dollars were seized.
Commending the Navy’s professionalism, Naqvi congratulated the Naval Chief and the crew of PNS Yamama for the achievement. “I pay tribute to the officers and sailors of PNS Yamama,” he said, adding that the operation demonstrated the Navy’s exceptional operational capabilities.
He stated that the successful action against narcotics smuggling reflects the Pakistan Navy’s vigilance, preparedness, and commitment to combating illegal activities at sea.
 “This operation is proof of our resolve to make Pakistan free from drugs,” Naqvi said.
The minister emphasized that the Navy continues to play an effective role in preventing unlawful activities along maritime routes and that the nation is proud of its “brave sons in uniform” for their dedication and service.
