Pakistan, KSA sign agreement for Hajj 2026 arrangements

ISLAMABAD, Nov 9 (APP): Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have formally signed an agreement outlining arrangements and facilities for pilgrims participating in Hajj 2026.
The agreement was inked on Sunday in Jeddah by Pakistan’s Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs, Dr. Syed Atta-ur-Rehman, and Saudi Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Sulaiman Al-Mashat.
Expressing deep appreciation for the Kingdom’s continued cooperation, Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman thanked the Saudi government for its excellent facilities and warm hospitality extended to Pakistani pilgrims each year.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to ensuring high-quality services for Hajj 2026, stating that the Ministry of Religious Affairs would complete all preparations for both the government and private Hajj schemes in a timely and efficient manner, in line with Saudi guidelines.
Dr. Atta added that Pakistan aims to replicate and further enhance the successful arrangements provided during the previous Hajj season.
