ISLAMABAD, Nov 6 (APP):Pakistan rich tourism & diverse culture has received an overwhelming response on the second day of the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2025.

“Pakistan’s joint pavilion has been thronged by thousands of potential tourists and international tour operators during the first two days of the exhibition,” said the premium tourism promotion organization of Pakistan.

According to the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation, the Pakistan Tourism Pavilion was established at the WTM London 2025 in collaboration with the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) with representation from Punjab Tourism, Sindh Tourism Development Corporation (STDC), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA), Gilgit-Baltistan Tourism Department and the private sector.

Aftab-ur-Rehman Rana, Managing Director, PTDC, stated that “Pakistan is blessed with a great inventory of tourism attractions for inbound tourists from across the world. Participation in mega events like WTM greatly helps to build the image of Pakistan as a tourist-friendly destination.”

Mr. Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, Prime Minister’s National Coordinator on Tourism, appreciated the efforts of PTDC and all co-exhibitors and said that “such joint participation strengthens Pakistan’s tourism marketing outreach through social networks, B2B meetings, partnerships and media engagement. It also provides valuable insights into the global travel industry to harness endless opportunities for Pakistan’s tourism sector.”

“Embellished with the vibrant regional colors of Pakistan, the pavilion attracted a large number of travel enthusiasts, representatives of international travel companies, media personnel and vloggers. The pavilion was adorned with eye-catching promotional materials including brochures, pamphlets, posters and large LED screens showcasing the rich cultural and landscape diversity of Pakistan,” the press release added.

WTM London is one of the largest travel shows in the world introducing global travel buyers to thousands of destinations and tourism brands. The exhibition will continue until 6th November 2025.
