Pakistan for immediate end to HR violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir

ISLAMABAD Aug 19 (APP): Pakistan on Friday called for
putting an immediate end to the human rights violations
against the innocent people of Indian occupied Jammu and
Kashmir and provision of medical facilities to the injured.

Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry in reply to the letter
of his Indian counterpart, called for resolution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UNSC Resolutions, a statement from the Foreign Office said.

The statement said the Indian High Commissioner was
called in today by the Foreign Secretary and a reply to the letter of the Indian Foreign Secretary was handed over to him.

The letter invites the Indian Foreign Secretary to visit
Islamabad by the end of this month to discuss the Jammu &
Kashmir dispute, “with a view to finding a fair and just solution, as per the United Nations Security Council resolutions and aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.”

Pakistan also called for putting an immediate end to the
human rights violations against the innocent people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir; struggling for their right to self determination.

Pakistan has also called for providing medical facilities to the injured in the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir, including permission for doctors and paramedics to travel.
