ISLAMABAD, Nov 30 (APP): The three-day Pakistan Cultural Festival concluded on Sunday at the Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA), drawing an overwhelming public response and showcasing the depth and diversity of Pakistan’s cultural heritage.
Organized by Dolphin Communication, Stiva, and PNCA, the festival featured an array of stalls representing traditional cuisine, clothing, jewelry, handicrafts, and creative startups.
Visitors from Rawalpindi and Islamabad thronged the venue throughout the weekend, turning the mela into a lively hub of cultural exchange, shopping, entertainment, and artistic appreciation.
Speaking at the concluding ceremony, Deputy Attorney General Hafza Bukhari Advocate, who attended as chief guest, congratulated Asma Butt, Chief Executive of Dolphin Communication, for successfully organizing the event.
She said Pakistan’s culture is “ancient, unique, and admired across the world,” adding that such festivals play a vital role in highlighting the country’s soft image.
Former Deputy Speaker of Azad Kashmir Shaheen Dar and acclaimed singer Naseer Raja were also present on the final day and praised the initiative for bringing together artisans, performers, and audiences on one platform.
The festival featured several entertainment segments, including a Qawwali and Bhangra Night, which added energy and excitement to the cultural showcase. The closing day attracted special attention with a DJ Night featuring rockstar singer Sam Queen, drawing large crowds and concluding the event on a high note.
Visitors expressed appreciation for the effort to promote local crafts, small businesses, and traditional art forms. Vendors and artisans also benefited from strong footfall, which allowed them to directly engage with potential customers and introduce their products to a broader audience.
In her closing remarks, Asma Butt thanked all participants, partners, and guests, stating that Pakistan’s cultural values are a source of national pride. She emphasized the need for institutions to collaborate and continue supporting cultural initiatives, saying that sustained efforts are essential to keeping heritage alive and accessible to the public.
The successful conclusion of the Pakistan Cultural Festival reaffirmed its role as a meaningful cultural platform that not only celebrates the country’s traditions but also strengthens community engagement and promotes the creative economy.
