ISLAMABAD, Dec 15 (APP): The Pakistan-China Four-Year Action Plan (2025-2029) and CPEC Phase II are set to lay the foundation for a new era of cooperation and prosperity in the region,
According to Dr Hassan Daud Butt, Senior Advisor to Energy China and former CPEC Project Director. Speaking to APP, Dr Butt stated that the Action Plan will enhance cooperation in agriculture, industry, infrastructure, and science, strengthening economic and trade ties between the two countries.
These initiatives will benefit Pakistan’s economy and serve as a milestone for regional peace, development, and sustainable prosperity. The Action Plan aims to take Pakistan-China friendship to a new level, promoting long-term cooperation and peace in the region and globally.
CPEC Phase II will create employment opportunities, promote industrial production, and enhance agricultural capacity, while modern infrastructure development and scientific research initiatives will improve the quality of life in both countries.
Dr Butt emphasized that Pakistan-China relations are founded on deep friendship and mutual trust, noting that the newly introduced Action Plan will further strengthen this partnership.
He said enhanced cooperation in agriculture, industry, infrastructure, and science would play a vital role in boosting bilateral ties. The plan also aims to strengthen economic and trade relations, create employment opportunities, and promote industrial production.
Modern infrastructure development and scientific research initiatives will help improve the quality of life, underscoring the shared commitment of both nations to sustainable growth and prosperity, he added.
