Pakistan can meet Kuwait’s future HR needs with skilled workforce: President

ISLAMABAD, Sep 27 (APP):President Dr Arif Alvi Thursday said Pakistan could meet the future human resource requirements of Kuwait with its skilled workforce, expressing satisfaction over the contributions of Pakistani community in the development and progress of the country.
In a meeting with Minister for Commerce and Industry of Kuwait Khaled Nasser Abdullah Al-Rundain who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr here, he highlighted that the longstanding brotherly relations between the two countries were based on close cultural, historical and religious ties.
The commerce minister of Kuwait is currently visiting Pakistan to attend the 4th session of Pakistan-Kuwait Joint Ministerial Commission.
The president underlined that the Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) sessions would further strengthen trade, economic and investment relations between the two fraternal countries.
The minister for commerce conveyed the message of felicitations and good wishes from the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber to the president on assuming office.
He thanked the president and stressed the importance Kuwait attaches to its bilateral relations with Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of translating the longstanding historic relations between the two countries into enhanced economic partnership.
The Kuwaiti minister also underscored the need to follow-up on the decision taken during the JMC to take bilateral economic relations to the next level.
Both the sides reiterated that Pakistan and Kuwait were important members of the Muslim world and vowed to continue to work together at all fora for the advancement of common causes.
