Pakistan can achieve lot through teamwork: Afridi
ISLAMABAD, Dec 14 (APP):Minister of State for Interior, Shehryar Khan Afridi has said the youth in the country are dynamic as Pakistan can achieve a lot through teamwork.
“With help of Almighty Allah we will be able to rise as
a nation,” he said this while addressing on-going 34th AGM and
Conference of Pakistan Society of Development Economists (PIDE)
on late Thursday.
On the occasion, a book entitled `Managers of Little Prince: A Journey of Ego, Justice and Meaning’ was also launched.
The book has been written by Khurram Elahi, a faculty member at
PIDE.
The book uses poetry and fiction to explore Principles of
Management.
In his brief remarks, Vice Chancellor PIDE and Member Economic Advisory Committee, Asad Zaman said modern knowledge only focuses on brain and has no place for heart.
However, the knowledge which affects heart is real knowledge, he said.
“I have done research on this subject. Therefore the real change comes from knowledge which is accepted by heart,” he added.
