Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister (DPM/FM), Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, on Thursday signed the Protocol recording the Minutes of the 3rd Session of the Pakistan–Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission here at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Pakistan, Bahrain agree to establish Joint Working Group on Trade, Investment
ISLAMABAD, Oct 8 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister (DPM/FM), Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, on Thursday signed the Protocol recording the Minutes of the 3rd Session of the Pakistan–Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission here at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Both sides agreed to establish a Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment at the Government level as an institutional mechanism for regular consultations, coordination and cooperation on bilateral trade and investment, a DPM’s Office news release said.
The Minutes record understandings on cooperation in trade and investment, agriculture and food security, oil, gas and minerals, maritime affairs, information technology and telecommunications, health, education and labour, among other areas.
