Pakistan, Algeria FMs explore ways to enhance trade, investment cooperation

Appreciating their regular exchanges, the two foreign minister of Pakistan and Algeria agreed to remain closely engaged to further strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

AMMAN, Aug 5 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday met with the Foreign Minister of Algeria Ahmad Attaf, on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem held here.

The two leaders discussed Pakistan-Algeria bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, information technology, agriculture, and other areas of mutual interest.

Appreciating their regular exchanges, the two foreign ministers agreed to remain closely engaged to further strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

Exchanging views on regional and international developments, including the situation in Occupied East Jerusalem and recent developments relating to Iran, Foreign Minister Attaf appreciated Pakistan’s continued constructive role and diplomatic efforts in promoting peace and stability in the region.
