Pakistan for immediate end to HR violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir

ISLAMABAD, Jun 20 (APP): Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry on Monday said Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed on a mechanism for border management and the details of it were being finalized.

Speaking in a private television programme, the Foreign Secretary was optimistic that the issue of border management between Pakistan and Afghanistan would be resolved amicably.

To a question about Pakistani and Indian bids for the membership of the Nuclear Supplier Group, he said a criterion should be made for those countries who had not signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

Aizaz Chaudhry said Pakistan fulfills the criteria for the NSG membership, adding, if any discrimination is done, it would dent the strategic stability in South Asia.
