ISLAMABAD, Jun 25 (APP): The outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Park Kijun, on Wednesday paid a farewell call on the Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch as he concludes his diplomatic tenure in the country.
A farewell lunch was also hosted in his honour by Additional Secretary (Asia & Pacific), Imran Ahmad Siddique at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a news release said.
During the meeting, the Foreign Secretary lauded Ambassador Park’s efforts in strengthening Pakistan-Korea relations, highlighting his role in enhancing cooperation across various sectors. She expressed optimism for continued progress and collaboration between the two countries.
Additional Secretary Siddique also appreciated the Ambassador’s valuable contributions and expressed hope that his successor would carry forward the positive momentum achieved during Park’s tenure.
