ISLAMABAD, Aug 14 (APP):The Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Wednesday arranged a ceremony to celebrate the Independence Day of Pakistan with zeal and enthusiasm.
On the occasion, ambassador of Pakistan to the UAE Ghulam Dastgir hoisted the national flag. Messages of President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan were read out. A large number of UAE-based Pakistanis including women and children attended the ceremony, a press release said.
In his address, the ambassador felicitated the Pakistanis on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day and recalled the great sacrifices rendered by the forefathers for the creation of a separate homeland.
