ISLAMABAD, Jun 24 (APP):The Sub-committee of Public Accounts committee of the parliament on Monday reviewed audit paras on ministry of industries & production.
The sub-committee’s meeting chaired by MNA Fakhar Imam also reviewed supplementary budget grants for the ministry of industries & production.
The audit officials informed the committee that the ministry received Rs 80.62 million as supplementary grant in financial year 2014-15.
While responding to the audit objection, the secretary industries & production told the committee that the grant was taken at the time of merger of ministry of industries into ministry of production.
MNA Ayaz Sadiq, member of the committee observed that funds were booked for next financial year after taking supplementary grants which hindered the way of other expenditure.
