LAHORE, Oct 15 (APP): A unanimous resolution was tabled in the Punjab Assembly on Friday to condemn brutalities by the Indian forces in the Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) and show solidarity with the innocent Kashmiris.

Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan tabled the resolution during the PA session with Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan in the chair who allowed to table the resolution by suspending the routine business of the house.

The resolution said: “This august house strongly condemns the recent atrocities of the Indian forces in the Indian occupied Kashmir. The Indian forces have killed and injured many Kashmiri children, youth and elederly men and women after a new spirit has been breathed into the Kashmir movement after the martyrdom of young Kashmiri leader Burhanuddin Wani.

The Indian government has been guilty of stark violation of human rights and international statutes. The Indian government has been making failed attempts to suppress the rightful movement of the Kashmiris.”

This house conveys this message to the world that the whole Pakistani nation is united on the Kashmir issue and stands beside the government without any religious and political affiliation.

This house also condemns the false claims of the Indian government of a surgical strike on the Pakistani soil due to which India had to cut a sorry figure before the international community as well as its own masses.

This house is unanimous in its appraisal that the cowardly Indian forces could not dare to undertake any surgical strike in the presence of brave Pakistani armed forces.

This house also condemns the unprovoked firing by the Indian Border Force at the Line of Control (LoC) and pays homage to the Pak armed forces for a fitting reply to the Indian forces.

This house believes that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and an incomplete agenda of the partition of India, adding that the house reiterates to support the freedom movement of the Kashmiris in the IHK and demands to hold plebiscite in the occupied Kashmir as per the resolutions of the United Nations (UN) and immediately stop atrocities against the innocent Kashmiris.

This house demands of the world to ensure implementation of all its resolutions on Kashmir passed in the UN.
