Over 500 youngsters complete digital skills programme at RankingGrow ceremony in Haripur

More than 500 students have completed a two-month digital skills training programme organised by RankingGrow, marking a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to provide young people with access to technical education and professional development opportunities.

PESHAWAR, Oct 10 (APP):More than 500 students have completed a two-month digital skills training programme organised by RankingGrow, marking a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to provide young people with access to technical education and professional development opportunities.
The closing ceremony was held at RankingGrow Tower in Haripur and attended by Chief Executive Officer Ammad Ali, Metrix Pakistan Founder and CEO Hassan Nisar, and Zarar TV Founder and CEO Waqar Ali.
The programme offered free training in artificial intelligence (AI), digital marketing, cybersecurity, video editing and graphic designing. Participants received instruction in fields that are increasingly relevant to businesses, media organisations and the wider digital economy.
Ammad Ali said RankingGrow had trained more than 12,000 individuals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with its initiatives aimed at making professional skills education accessible to a wider section of society.
He said financial barriers often prevent young people from accessing specialised training, while the growing use of digital technologies has created a need for workers with relevant technical knowledge.
“Our objective is to help young people learn skills that they can apply in their professional lives. Thousands of individuals have received training free of cost, and we believe that access to education and practical experience can help them pursue better opportunities,” Ammad Ali said.
One of the programme’s notable outcomes was the provision of employment and paid internship opportunities to more than 30 students from the graduating batch.
According to RankingGrow, these students were offered positions within the company, giving them an opportunity to gain professional experience alongside their technical knowledge.
The ceremony also provided an opportunity to discuss the importance of developing a skilled workforce in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where young people are increasingly exploring careers in digital marketing, creative services, cybersecurity and technology.
Hassan Nisar, Founder and CEO of Metrix Pakistan, said initiatives that provide free training could help reduce barriers to professional education, particularly for students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.
He noted that cooperation between organisations could contribute to expanding access to skills development and helping young people prepare for employment.
“Providing young people with opportunities to learn and develop practical skills is important for the future of our province. Organisations need to work together to ensure that young people can access training and use their knowledge to build their careers,” Hassan Nisar said.
Waqar Ali, Founder and CEO of Zarar TV, also attended the event. His participation brought together representatives from the media, digital services and youth development sectors at a ceremony focused on education, employability and professional growth.
Established in 2016, RankingGrow works in the digital services and training sector. The company stated that it has been recognised by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and has received awards from the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the President of Pakistan.
The completion of the programme highlights the growing importance of practical digital education in Pakistan. As businesses increasingly rely on online platforms, digital tools and technology-based services, technical skills can provide young people with additional pathways towards employment and self-employment.
For the 500 students who completed the programme, the ceremony marked the conclusion of two months of learning and the beginning of the next stage of their professional development.
The employment and internship opportunities offered to some participants also demonstrated the potential value of connecting training programmes with workplace experience.
The event concluded with recognition of the graduating students and a focus on the need to expand access to practical education and employment opportunities for young people across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
