Orakzai people accords historic welcome to PM on arrival

ORAKZAI, April 19 (APP):Like Bajaur and Khyber districts, the people of Orakzai tribal district Friday accorded a historic and very impressive welcome to Prime Minister Imran Khan on his arrival.

People from all tehsils, towns and villages of upper, central and lower Orakzai including Kalaya, Bazidkhel, Samuzai, Esakhel, Umarzai, Ismailzai, Mamezai Mishti, Ayazkhel, Adeezai, Mastikhel, Darwikhel, Jaysialkhel, Gheratkhel and other areas thronged to the venue to have a glimpse of their great leader.

Since morning, people from all shades of life including politicians, lawmakers, local government representatives, farmers, labourers, academicians, students, senior citizens, special persons and youth arrived to hear the address of the prime minister.

Hundreds of thousands of tribesmen and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers gathered to welcome their great leader with full throated slogans “Imran Khan Qadam Bharo Hum Tumharay Saath hain and long Live Pakistan”.

On this occasion, all roads and squares leading to the venue was beautifully decorated with PTI flags and banners displaying the photos and portraits of the Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Imran Khan is the first elected prime minister of Pakistan who visited Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber and Orakzai tribal districts after assuming the prestigious office after winning the general election 2018.

“I came from Kalaya to have a glimpse of my leader Prime Minister Imran Khan,” Ali Khan Adeezai, a student of a private school, told APP.

He said, “Imran Khan is the hope of the people of the country as he has got all statesman like qualities to steer the country out of existing difficult situation.”

“The prime minister’s visit to tribal districts time and again showed his deep love and affection with tribesmen besides his strong commitment to bring these underdeveloped areas at par with the developed regions of the country,” he added.

“The people of tribal districts are thankful to the prime minister for extending 3G and 4G services besides provision of Sehat Insaf Cards facility,” he said adding poor families would now get free treatment at any top government and private hospitals of the country and not sell their lands and houses for medical treatment any more.

“The prime minister has always raised voice for the rights of tribesmen at all forums and took keen interest in economic progress, prosperity and development of all the tribal districts of erstwhile FATA,” Ali Khan Adeezai said.

“I came from far flung Ismailkhel village to have a glimpse of Prime Minister Imran Khan,” Eshan Tori, another tribal youth told APP.

Following Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA)-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) merger, he said there was a big issue of Khasadar and Levy Force and the PTI government has successfully addressed it after its merger into KP police, thus winning the hearts and minds of millions of tribal people.

The prime minister has recently visited Bajaur, Mohmand and Khyber tribal districts where he announced a mega development package for tribal people.
