ISLAMABAD, Jun 26 (APP):Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeem ul Haq on Wednesday said the opposition’s all parties conference (APC) was aimed at protecting the leadership of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) who were facing corruption cases.
Talking to a private news channel, he said holding an APC was an old practice of political parties, particularly those in the opposition, to make a hue and cry, and make themselves relevant politically.
The special assistant said the opposition parties had differences on several issues. How they could harm the government as they themselves were divided and could not settle their differences, he added.
