Operation Zarb-e-Azb, a mission to ensure peace, cohesion: Baloch

ISLAMABAD, Oct 25 (APP): Minister for States and Frontier
Regions Lt Gen (R) Abdul Qadir Baloch Sunday said operation
Zarb-e-Azb is a step to ensure peace and security in the country.
He said the mission will be accomplished in the light of
guidance from the life of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) as the Imam
was the symbol of peace.
Talking to a delegation of Hussania Conference here, headed
by Dr Ghazanfar Mehdi, he said the operation Zarb-e-Azb has
smashed the sanctuaries of terrorists.
He said the country was passing through a critical juncture
and there is a need to maintain peace and ensure harmony among
the people for achieving economic development and progress.
Chairman Imam Hussain Council Dr Ghazanfar Mehdi said all
Muslims, have deep affection with Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).
He lauded fool-proof security arrangements of Muharram
processions.
He assured cooperation of Imam Hussain Council for the
elimination of secretarianism.
