ISLAMABAD, Dec 16 (APP):On the anniversary of the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar tragedy, Federal Minister and President of Pakistan Muslim League–N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Amir Muqam, paid rich tribute to the innocent martyrs, describing their sacrifices as an unforgettable chapter in Pakistan’s history.
In a statement issued on Tuesday , Amir Muqam said the brutal attack on innocent children was an assault on all of humanity and it had not only shook Pakistan but also resonated across the world.
He said the nation continues to share the grief of the APS martyrs, whose sacrifice can never be forgotten.
He noted that the APS tragedy brought the entire country together in unity and strengthened the nation’s resolve against terrorism.
He reaffirmed that the enemies of Pakistan’s peace would never succeed in their malicious designs.
The federal minister said Pakistan’s armed forces and security agencies are standing like a lead wall against terrorism, ensuring the protection of the country and its people.
He added that the sacrifices of the APS martyrs impart enduring lessons of unity, courage, and perseverance, which will continue to guide the nation.
Amir Muqam also prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for patience and strength for their families, reiterating that Pakistan remains committed to establish lasting peace and honoring every sacrifice made for the country.
