ISLAMABAD, Oct 22 (APP):The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) organized a breast cancer awareness event titled “From Awareness to Action” to highlight the importance of early detection, timely diagnosis and treatment.
Organized by the NUMS Scientific Society (BioCluster), the event brought together students and healthcare professionals to promote awareness and encourage informed health decisions.
Expert talks provided participants with insights into breast cancer, emphasizing the importance of early detection and seeking timely medical advice to improve treatment outcomes.
The event also featured “Women on the Move,” an initiative by EVEE Electric Bike Company, which offered students practical guidance on riding electric bikes and essential road safety measures.
The initiative combined health education with practical learning to promote women’s confidence, mobility and independence.
