ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (APP):The friendly policies have attracted 34,773 tourist from Pakistan who visited
Malaysia during January to June 2018, depicting a growth of 29.4 percent as compared to the preceding period.
This was stated by Malaysian Consul General, Khairul Nazran Abdur Rahman on the visit of Pakistan.
Pakistan is one of the Malaysia’s largest trading and tourism partner among South Asian countries and the balance of tourism and trade has consistently been in Malaysia’s favour.
Malaysia and Pakistan enjoyed warm and friendly relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1957, he aded.
The two countries shared similar position on regional and international issues through their common membership in the Tourism, Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) and G-77 organization.
In addition, Pakistan is also a sectoral dialogue partner of ASEAN and a member of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), he added.
