Nazriya Pakistan Council (NPC) will observe the death anniversary of Shaheed-e-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan, Pakistan’s first Prime Minister, on Friday (October 16).
NPC to mark Liaquat Ali Khan’s death anniversary on Oct 16
ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (APP): Nazriya Pakistan Council (NPC) will observe the death anniversary of Shaheed-e-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan, Pakistan’s first Prime Minister, on Friday (October 16).
The ceremony will be held at Aiwan-e-Quaid, Fatima Jinnah Park, Islamabad, at 3:30 p.m., with Minister of State/ Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Heritage and Culture Division Huzaifa Rehman attending as the chief guest.
Prominent writer and intellectual Dr. Farooq Adil will preside over the event, while Dawood Kaif, Syed Zaheer Gilani, Tazeen Akhtar and Rubina Nasir will speak on the life, services and national contributions of Liaquat Ali Khan.
NPC Chairman Mian Muhammad Javed will deliver the vote of thanks, while Executive Secretary Gohar Zahid Malik will also attend the ceremony.
