NPC holds prayer ceremony for Hassan Sardar’s mother demise

ISLAMABAD, Jun 9 (APP):The National Press Club (NPC) on Tuesday held a prayers ceremony to pray for the eternal peace and forgiveness of the late mother of Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) senior journalist and NPC member Rana Hassan Sardar.
The gathering was attended by members of the NPC, representatives of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ), as well as a large number of relatives, friends, colleagues and members of the journalistic community, said a press release.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, after which participants offered prayers for the elevation of the deceased’s ranks, divine forgiveness and strength and patience for the bereaved family.
Speaking on the occasion, journalists and community leaders expressed their deep sorrow over the loss and conveyed heartfelt condolences to Rana Hassan Sardar and his family.
They prayed Almighty bless to the departed soul with mercy and grant her the highest place in Jannah. They also prayed for courage and fortitude for the family to bear the irreparable loss with patience.
