No role of govt in cancellation of Zardari’s bail: Fawad
ISLAMABAD, Jun 10 (APP):Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Monday said the government had no role in cancellation of bail of President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) Asif Ali Zardari.
In a statement issued here, the minister said these cases were registered against Asif Zardari in 2015 when Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in power.
Fawad said that former Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had stated in 2016 about the fake accounts and said the accounts had link with Bilawal House.
At that time, the minister said, Supreme Court had directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for investigation and the agency had recommended to file 16 references against Asif Zardari in its report.
