ISLAMABAD, Aug 20 (APP): Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid Saturday said there was no mention of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in the Panama Papers.

Talking to media-persons here at Lok Virsa, the minister said the elements predicting ‘something unusual’ in September would be disappointed as the government would complete its constitutional term.

He said the people of Islamabad had already heard Tahirul Qadri’s predictions twice. Qadri had foreseen the end of previous government by 2:30 at a night but that government too completed its tenure, he added.

He said thousands of youth in Balochistan had responded to Brahumdagh Bugti’s statement by raising ‘long live Pakistan’ slogans the other day and by celebrating Independence Day. Brahumdagh Bugti would surely have heard those voices, he remarked.

The minister said cinema culture was being revived in Pakistan and the people were being provided with entertainment opportunities.

He said education and health were provincial subjects and the federal government was fulfilling its responsibilities.
