ISLAMABAD, Jun 10 (APP):Parliamentary Secretary for Finance and Revenue Saad Waseem Sheikh informed the National Assembly on Wednesday that no final report has yet been prepared on the recent fire incident at a Customs warehouse in Quetta, Balochistan.
Responding to a calling attention notice, he said the inquiry process is still ongoing and has not reached a conclusion.
He said the reports have not been finalised, adding that the exact financial losses from the incident cannot be shared at this stage.
He requested members to defer the matter to a later date, saying that complete details, including the total losses, would be presented to the House once the inquiry is completed.
He added that any concerns raised by members would be reviewed as part of the ongoing investigation. He said it would be inappropriate to draw conclusions or give final remarks until the inquiry is completed.
He assured the House that the inquiry report would be shared soon once it is finalized.
