ISLAMABAD, Dec 03 (APP): The National Logistics Corporation (NLC) has been awarded the Fastest Growing Company of the Year at a ceremony in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in recognition of its expanding role in strengthening regional connectivity and unlocking new trade corridors.
The award was conferred at the Business Opportunities Conference & International Achievement Awards 2025, attended by senior government officials of Uzbekistan, representatives of regional chambers of commerce, and members of Pakistan’s diplomatic mission, said a press release issued here on Wednesday.
NLC began its cross-border logistics operations to Uzbekistan in May 2023. Since then, it has completed over 1,000 operations, transporting nearly 20,000 metric tonnes of export and import cargo, including medicines, textile products, expo materials and other commercial goods.
The corporation has also emerged as a key facilitator for agricultural exports to Central Asia, shipping around 6,000 tonnes of mandarins, bananas, mangoes, potatoes, rice, meat and other items to Uzbekistan.
To further strengthen trade links, NLC has established a logistics hub in Termez, providing end-to-end multimodal transport solutions to businesses across the region.
