ISLAMABAD, Jul 24 (APP):The four-day maritime training workshop organized by the National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA) Islamabad concluded successfully with engaging sessions on coral reef preservation, sustainable maritime tourism and value chain resilience in Pakistan’s blue economy.
The closing ceremony was graced by Vice Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz, Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Operations), as the chief guest.
He commended NIMA’s efforts in promoting maritime education and building the capacity of young professionals.
The ceremony also featured certificate distribution and closing remarks by NIMA’s President and Vice President, who appreciated the active participation and enthusiasm of the attendees.
Experts including Tariq Mahmood, Aneela Khan and Sahar Malik emphasized the importance of environmental stewardship and innovative maritime strategies.
The workshop concluded on a high note, reaffirming NIMA’s commitment to maritime awareness, youth engagement, and sustainable development.
