ISLAMABAD, Feb 05 (APP): The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) on Thursday expressed solidarity with the people of Kashmir by organising special events across its zones, sectors and offices to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day.
According to an official statement, banners and posters highlighting Kashmir-related messages were displayed at toll plazas, interchanges and key points along motorways and national highways to convey support for the Kashmiri people.
Special prayers were offered for those who lost their lives in the Kashmir conflict and for peace in the region.
Awareness stalls were also set up to inform citizens about the issue and distribute informational material.
Solidarity walks were held at various locations, attended by NHMP officers, personnel and members of the public, reaffirming support for the Kashmiri people and their right to self-determination.
