ISLAMABAD, Nov 26 (APP): The newly appointed Chairman Joint
Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Zubair Mahmood Hayat and newly
appointed Chief of the Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Saturday separately called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif here at the Prime Minister House.
Congratulating General Zubair Mahmood Hayat and General Qamar
Javed Bajwa on their promotion to the rank of general, the Prime Minister said after assuming responsibilities they would serve the country in an excellent way and come upto expectations of the nation.
General Zubair Mahmood Hayat and General Qamar Javed Bajwa thanked the Prime Minister and said defence of Pakistan was invincible. The armed forces of Pakistan would not hesitate from any sacrifice for defence of the motherland, they added.
