ISLAMABAD, Aug 27 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s senior command witnessed fresh appointments this week as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Qazi Ali Raza on Thursday met newly appointed SSP Security/Administration Captain (Retd) Sardar Muhammad Shehryar Khan to discuss public safety, security arrangements and patrolling across the federal capital.
An official told APP on Thursday that during the meeting, the two senior officers discussed measures aimed at strengthening security, improving patrolling and ensuring effective protection of citizens, said a press release here.
Qazi and Shehryar Khan also exchanged views on coordination among operational and security formations to maintain effective policing and a secure environment in Islamabad.
The meeting came a day after Shehzada Umar Abbas assumed charge as SSP Safe City Operations, marking another change in the senior police command.
The new assignments are aimed at strengthening coordination among security, operations and Safe City formations and improving policing through effective field deployment and technology-based monitoring.
The officers reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring effective security and patrolling arrangements and providing a safe environment to citizens across the federal capital.
