NDMA sends 100 tons of food relief for Palestinians; Pakistan’s aid to Gaza crosses 2,800 tons

ISLAMABAD, Feb 12 (APP):National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has dispatched its 29th humanitarian aid consignment to Gaza, comprising 100 tons of food supplies including dates, flour, rice, MREs and cooking oil.
Under the Government’s patronage, the relief goods were flown from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, to Al-Arish, Egypt, for onward delivery to the besieged enclave.
With this latest dispatch, Pakistan’s total humanitarian assistance to Palestine has reached 2,827 tons through 29 consignments.
The consignment, arranged in coordination with NDMA and supported by Alkhidmat Foundation, was formally sent off at a ceremony attended by senior officials from NDMA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, government departments, and representatives of Alkhidmat Foundation.
The Government and people of Pakistan have reiterated their firm solidarity with the people of Palestine, pledging to continue every possible effort to support them and address their humanitarian needs.
