ISLAMABAD, Nov 18 (APP):The National Disaster Management Authority in partnership with Al-Khidmat Foundation on Tuesday sent its 25th aid consignment to Gaza a 100-ton shipment that raises total relief assistance to 2,427 tons reaffirming the country’s sustained humanitarian support.
The relief consignment, dispatched on the directives of the prime minister, has been sent from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, to Gaza via Egypt.
The chartered flight carried essential non-food relief items, including tents, tarpaulin sheets, and jerry cans, to assist those in need.
A send-off ceremony attended by Federal Minister for Public Affairs Rana Mubashir Iqbal, along with officials from NDMA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), and Alkhidmat Foundation.
