ISLAMABAD, Nov 25 (APP): The National Commission for the Status of Women (NCSW) has launched Pakistan’s new multi-channel Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Complaint Management System as the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence begins.
In line with the UN theme “UNiTE! Invest to Prevent Violence Against Women & Girls,” the initiative enhances safe, confidential, and survivor-centered reporting options for women and girls nationwide.
In partnership with the Pakistan Cyber Emergency Response Team, NCSW is also introducing a Misinformation and Disinformation Awareness Campaign and a Digital Safety Video Series in response to rising online threats such as deepfakes, cyberstalking, blackmail, and digital harassment.
The new system includes an online portal, mobile app, walk-in centers, and an upcoming helpline, ensuring accessible reporting for women across all regions of Pakistan.
