NCCIA DG reviews Gujranwala Circle performance, orders Quick Action on cyber crime complaints

Director General (DG) National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi on Thursday visited the Gujranwala Circle, reviewed its overall performance and directed officers to ensure timely relief to citizens, merit-based investigations and effective action against cyber crimes.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 01 (APP): Director General (DG) National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi on Thursday visited the Gujranwala Circle, reviewed its overall performance and directed officers to ensure timely relief to citizens, merit-based investigations and effective action against cyber crimes.

An NCCIA official told APP that the DG Rizvi held a meeting with officers and personnel posted at the Gujranwala Circle and received a detailed briefing on ongoing investigations, disposal of public complaints and overall performance.

During the meeting, Rizvi individually asked officers about their professional duties, cases under investigation and progress on public complaints. He also listened to their issues and assured them of their early resolution.

The DG Rizvi directed officers to ensure that citizens approaching NCCIA were provided timely assistance and that all investigations were carried out on merit.

He said all available resources would be used to fight cyber crime and protect citizens from online criminal activities.
During the visit, Rizvi also inspected the front desk and reviewed the process for registration of citizens’ complaints, guidance provided to complainants and progress made on their cases.
He directed the officials to make the complaint process easy for citizens and ensure timely action on their complaints.
