ISLAMABAD, Aug 23 (APP):The National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), operating under the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, has initiated a nationwide recruitment drive across multiple cadres to fill 351 vacant positions.
The initiative aims to enhance the agency’s operational and forensic capabilities in combating digital threats, online financial fraud, and cyber offenses.
According to official , the vacancies include 48 Sub-Inspectors (BS-14), 15 Technical Assistants (BS-14), 8 Stenotypists (BS-14), 6 Upper Division Clerks (BS-11), 36 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (BS-09), 174 Constables (BS-05), and 64 Constable Drivers (BS-05). Educational qualifications range from Master’s/Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, and Telecommunications to intermediate and secondary school certificates, depending on the requirements of each post.
The age bracket for all positions has been set between 18 and 25 years, with an applicable general age relaxation of five years under federal government service rules. Selection for uniformed roles will require mandatory physical endurance and measurement screenings, including a 1.6-kilometer run test, prior to computer-based testing and final evaluations.
The recruitment is being processed under prescribed provincial, regional, gender, and minority quotas to ensure merit-based nationwide representation. Online applications have been invited through the National Police Foundation Testing and Assessment Service portal (www.npftas.pk) until September 7.
