ISLAMABAD, Nov 18 (APP): National Book Foundation (NBF), in collaboration with Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA), was all set to host a three-day mega literary celebration of the ’11th National Book Festival’ at Lok Virsa from November 25-27.
The event will feature book launches, reading sessions, literary dialogues, and cultural discussions, creating a dynamic platform for writers, intellectuals, and book lovers. A mushaira, along with storytelling sessions for children, will add a traditional and family-friendly flavor to the festival.
The festival aims to promote a culture of reading, creativity, and lifelong learning among students, families, and young readers. Organizers have announced a diverse and vibrant lineup of activities designed to engage visitors of all ages.
Visitors will also be able to participate in painting corners, creative workshops, and enjoy a relaxing ambiance with soft music.
Stalls from leading publishers across Pakistan will offer a wide range of books, providing readers with the opportunity to explore new titles as well as classic literature.
According to an NBF spokesperson, the festival is envisioned as a celebration of the “magic of books” and an opportunity to reconnect communities with reading and knowledge-sharing.
He expressed hope that the event will draw large crowds and contribute to strengthening Islamabad’s cultural and literary landscape.
The three-day festival will be open to the public, offering a blend of learning, creativity, and literary inspiration.
