Naval Chief highlights importance of vigil in face of security situation

KARACHI, Nov 9 (APP): Chief of the Naval staff, Admiral
Muhammad Zakaullah here on Monday underlined the importance of
maintaining constant vigil at sea in view of the prevailing security
environment.
The Naval Chief who was also joined by the Chief of the Air
Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman in the operational visit of the
fleet units at sea during the ongoing Pakistan Navy Exercise SEASPARK
2015, reiterated PN’s resolve of maintaining peace, security and
stability in the region.
Interacting with officers and men on the occasion, Chief of
the Naval Staff urged them to put in their best to achieve
professional excellence which has always remained the hallmark of
Pakistan Navy.
The over-arching objective of this exercise is to validate PN
operational plans, assess war preparedness of Pakistan Navy and
enhance inter-operability with PAF and Pak Army, he said.
Earlier on their arrival to the site, both the Services Chiefs
were briefed on the conduct of the exercise.
During the visit, the Naval and Air Chiefs witnessed the ongoing
joint operations by PN Fleet units and PAF aircraft.
Naval Chief lauded the seamless integration between various
echelons of Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force which is essential
for synergetic response to the prevailing threats.
Both the Services Chiefs also witnessed the conduct of Joint
Operations from PAF’s Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C)
Aircraft while operating at North Arabian Sea.
