Nation should fllow Quaid’s principles to make country prosperious: Zehri

ZIARAT, Dec 25 (APP): Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri on Friday said Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had established a seperate country for the Muslims of the Sub-continent after great struggle.

Pakistan, he said, was the result of efforts made by the great Quaid and sacrifices of ancestors. The nation would have to follow his principles of ‘unity, faith and discipline’ for making the the country prosperous, he added.

He was addressing the ceremony after hoisting flag at Quaid-i-Azam Residency here in connection with the 139 birth anniversary of the Quaid-e-Azam.

Balochistan Chief Secretary Saifullah Chathha, Inspector General Frontier Corps Maj-General Sher Afgun, parliamentary leader of Pashtunkhawa Milli Awami Party Abdul Raheem Ziaratwal, parliamentary leader of Awami National Party Eng Zamarak Piralizai, senior leader of National Party Mir Khalid Langove, politicians, tribal elders and senior officials attended the ceremony.

The chief minister said his government would pay special attention towards development of the province. “We will launch mega projects to put the country on track of development,” he added.

He said that due to the efforts and sacrifices of armed forces and law enforcement agencies, peace had been restored in the province.

He said development of tourism sector could help boost the province’s  economy.

He announced establishing of a chair-lift system in Ziarat to attract tourists.

He also announced Rs 10 million for uplift works in the area and Rs 1 million more for schoolchildren.
