ISLAMABAD, Apr 08 (APP):Federal Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan on Wednesday lauded Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir for a “historic achievement” in facilitating a ceasefire between the United States and Iran.
In a message posted on social media platform X, he said that by the grace of Almighty Allah, the entire nation felt proud of this significant moment, adding that Pakistan had played a responsible and commendable role in advancing peace with prudence and wisdom.
Congratulating the political and military leadership, Abdul Aleem Khan said the development had enhanced the country’s dignity and stature internationally. He termed the initiation of dialogue between the United States and Iran a positive development and a good omen for regional stability.
He further stated that the world was recognizing Pakistan as a responsible and peace-loving nation and expressed hope that the upcoming Friday talks would yield further positive and encouraging developments.
