ISLAMABAD, May 04 (APP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday said the nation paid tribute to the soldiers of armed forces who sacrificed their lives for the motherland.
The prime minister condemned the terrorist incident in North Waziristan where six soldiers were martyred.
He paid tribute to the troops including Havaldar Saleem Khan, Naik Javed Iqbal, Sepoy Nazir Khan, Sepoy Hazrat Bilal, Sepoy Syed Rajab Hussain and Sepoy Bismillah.
“No matter how long the battle, our valiant armed forces, with the support of the nation, will root out terrorism in its entirety. These supreme sacrifices by our security forces, police and intelligence community are a show of our unwavering national resolve to protect the motherland from the scourge of terrorism and militancy,” the prime minister wrote on Twitter.
The prime minister prayed for the souls of martyrs to rest in peace.
