ISLAMABAD, Jun 26 (APP):Youm-e-Ashur is being observed across the country with deep reverence, grief and spiritual devotion, as citizens, religious scholars and political leaders pay rich tribute to the martyrs of Karbala, recalling their supreme sacrifice for truth, justice and the eternal message of Islam.
               Various media channels are marking the day with special transmissions, interviews and messages, highlighting the historic tragedy of Karbala and its lasting lessons of patience, sacrifice and steadfastness against oppression.
             Religious scholars and public figures are reflecting on the significance of Imam Hussain (R.A) and his companions’ unwavering stand for righteousness.
             Processions are being taken out in major cities under strict security arrangements, while faithful are participating in Quran Khawani, special prayers and religious gatherings at mosques and imam-bargahs.
         Citizens are also visiting graveyards to offer Fatiha for their loved ones, keeping alive the spirit of remembrance and reflection.
          Participants and community leaders have appreciated the government’s arrangements, particularly the enhanced security measures and digital monitoring systems deployed to ensure smooth conduct of processions and maintain law and order across the country.
        Political and social figures are paying tribute to the martyrs of Karbala, calling the day a timeless reminder of courage, sacrifice and truth.
        Citizens while speaking to media said the peaceful arrangements and disciplined environment allowed them to observe Ashura with ease and devotion.
         “The security and management are commendable, everything is well organized,” said one participant, while another added, “We feel safe and spiritually connected in this peaceful atmosphere.”
           They further said the ongoing observance of Ashura continues to promote unity, patience and faith among the people, while the message of Imam Hussain (R.A) remains a guiding light for justice and humanity.
