Naran-Balakot road opens for all kind of traffic

ISLAMABAD, Oct 26 (APP): Naran-Balakot road blocked
due to heavy snowfall overnight, has been cleared
for all kind of traffic.
“With the hectic efforts by district administration,
police and Frontier Works Organization Kaghan-Balakot
road has been cleared for traffic” said an official of
National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
He said necessary machinery was being moved to
clear remaining links roads in Naran, Kaghan and
adjoining tourists destinations in the area.
Pakistan Army had rescued around 70 stranded
vehicles from Naran to Kaghan.
Another 100 tourists trapped on Batakundi-Naran
Road were rescued by Frontier Works Organization (FWO).
The FWO troops are also busy in opening other roads.
