ISLAMABAD, Oct 10 (APP):Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday praised the Balochistan Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) for its successful operation against Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists in the Barkhan area, in which 10 terrorists were killed.
The minister commended the professional capabilities of the CTD personnel for carrying out the operation and eliminating the 10 terrorists.
Naqvi said the timely action by the Balochistan CTD had foiled the terrorist group’s plans. He appreciated the department’s role in taking action against those seeking to undermine peace in the province.
He said all institutions were committed to maintaining peace in Balochistan and working towards eliminating threats to security.
The interior minister expressed pride in the personnel of the Balochistan CTD, acknowledging their role in the operation against the terrorists.
Naqvi said efforts to eliminate elements working against peace were continuing with the support of the nation. He stressed that the commitment of the relevant institutions to restoring and maintaining peace in Balochistan remained firm.
The minister also prayed for the early recovery of the two personnel who were injured during the operation.
He expressed his support for the injured personnel and wished them a speedy recovery.
The operation in Barkhan reflects the ongoing efforts of the Balochistan CTD to counter terrorist activities in the province. The department carried out the action against Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists, killing 10 of them and foiling their plans, according to the statement.
