ISLAMABAD, Oct 13 (APP): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday hosted a reception in honour of European Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration Magnus Brunner, welcoming him and diplomats from European countries to the event.
During the reception, the Interior Minister welcomed the European Commissioner and the distinguished guests from European countries. The guests were also briefed on the historical significance of Islamabad.
Diplomats from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France and Germany attended the event. Representatives from Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain and Sweden were also present.
Diplomats representing the European Union also attended the reception.
During the event, European Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration Magnus Brunner appreciated the beauty of Islamabad and its natural scenery.
The European Commissioner and the diplomats from European countries thanked Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi for his hospitality and for hosting the reception in their honour.
Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, senators and senior officials were also present at the event.
The reception brought together the European Commissioner, diplomats from several European countries, European Union representatives and Pakistani officials in Islamabad.
