ISLAMABAD, Feb 05 (APP): Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday lauded Pakistan’s security forces for successfully completing Operation Rad-ul-Fitna 1 in Balochistan, calling it a significant achievement in the fight against terrorism.
In a statement, Naqvi said the forces had thwarted a major attempt to destabilize the province. He praised their professionalism and operational capability, noting that 216 militants linked to what he described as Fitna-e-Al-Hindustan had been eliminated during the operation.
“The security forces have secured a major victory against these terrorists and foiled their conspiracy to spread unrest in Balochistan,” he said. Naqvi added that the militants met a “humiliating end” as a result of the operation.
The interior minister also paid homage to the security personnel and civilians who embraced martyrdom during the campaign. “Our martyrs are our pride, and their sacrifices will always be remembered,” he said.
Operation Rad-ul-Fitna 1 is being described by officials as part of a broader national effort to dismantle networks involved in violence and subversion in the region.
