NAB taking stern action against corrupt elements sans caring about any duress

ISLAMABAD, Mar 7 (APP):Chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice Javed Iqbal Thursday said the Bureau was taking stern action against corrupt elements sans caring about any duress as the corruption was major hurdle in the progress and prosperity of the country.
Addressing the officers of Operation and Prosecution divisions of NAB, he said
that the anti-graft watchdog was making sincere efforts to bring back home the corrupt elements, who fled abroad after looting billion of rupees from here.
He said NAB has devised an effective strategy as NAB was committed to
ensure corruption-free Pakistan as ridding the country from the menace of
corruption was its national responsibility.
Justice Javed directed NAB officers to perform their duties in a transparent
way in accordance with law, said a press release.
