ISLAMABAD, Nov 26 (APP):United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador Salem Mohammed Salem Al-Zaabi met with National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, reviewed bilateral relations, discussed parliamentary cooperation, and highlighted ongoing collaboration across diverse sectors.
While welcoming the Ambassador, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates are close and brotherly Islamic nations whose relations are rooted in mutual trust, respect, and shared history.
He added that Pakistan deeply values its fraternal ties with the UAE and considers bilateral cooperation vital for peace, stability, and development in the region.
The Speaker expressed gratitude for the UAE’s warm reception and facilitation of the Pakistani community residing in the Emirates.
He acknowledged the positive role of Pakistani expatriates in strengthening bilateral relations and appreciated the UAE leadership for its continued support.He emphasized that enhanced parliamentary engagement between the two countries would further deepen mutual cooperation.
UAE Ambassador Al-Zaabi reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to its longstanding relations with Pakistan. He noted that ties between the two countries are historic, deep-rooted, and based on mutual confidence.The Ambassador also appreciated the significant contribution of the Pakistani community to the UAE’s progress and development.
Both dignitaries agreed to expand cooperation in trade, investment, parliamentary exchanges, and human resource development. They also discussed the overall regional situation and matters of mutual interest.
